What are the ingredients in the shaving soap?

What is the best way to use the soap and create a thick lather?

- Let soap soak for a few minutes in your shaving bowl with warm water.
- Wash your beard with hot water to soften the beard.
- Rub your wet but shaken out brush briskly in a circular motion over the top of the shaving soap. When lather starts to form, continue rubbing for about 30 seconds making sure the brush picks up soap.
- Rub soap over your wet beard brushing vigorously coating the beard with soap, lather will start to build. Put a driblet of warm water on the brush and continue to work up the lather on your beard until the lather is thick and covers your beard.
- Shave with your favorite razor.
- Repeat steps 4 & 5 for a second pass, giving you a close and clean shave.
Can I use the soap to shave my head?
Yes, absolutely you can. We have many customers who use our shaving soap to shave their scalp and they have reported that the results are amazing.
What are the dimensions of the soap puck?
1" height by 3" diameter.
What is the net weight of the shaving soap puck?
All our shaving soaps are 3.8 - 4 oz in weight and can last 3 months or more when used daily.
What scents do you offer?
Himalaya, Lavender, Sandalwood and Bay Rum.
Can I melt the soap to fit my mug?
Yes, you can. You have two options for melting the soap and making it form to the shape of your mug, the first is using the microwave, and the second option is using boiling water.

Using the microwave
- Put the soap in your shaving mug.
- Place the soap and shaving mug in the microwave and set the timer to 15 seconds, make sure to keep watching the soap as it can melt very quickly. If the soap did not melt in that time then add another 15 seconds and keep watching the soap.
- Once the soap melts in the mug, take it out of the microwave and let it sit for 2 days.
- By now the soap should harden and should have formed to the shape of the mug.
Using the stovetop and boiling water
- Put the soap in your shaving mug.
- Put your shaving mug and some water in your pan but don't let the water get inside your shaving mug.
- Place the pan on the stove and let the water boil.
- The soap should start melting, once its fully melted turn off your stove and remove the pan.
- The shaving mug will be very hot so keep it in the pan until it cools down. Let the soap sit for 2 days.
- By now the soap should harden and should have formed to the shape of the mug.
